For 35 years Tyler Davis has been building custom homes in the neighborhoods of Cherry Hills Village, Denver Country Club, Greenwood Village, Parker, and throughout the foothills of Evergreen, Conifer, Breckenridge, and Grand County.  Tyler has held a Class C General Contractors License in Denver County, Arapahoe County, Jefferson County, Colorado Springs, Summit County, Grand County, and Park County.  Tyler is passionate about building custom homes and he brings his 35 years of team leadership to every project…every day. 

Areas of Excellence

Pre-Construction

  • Primary point of contact between the homeowner, architect, and consultants

  • Extensive working knowledge of the building department, planning, zoning & permitting process

  • Develop the project budget & address all issues that arise with the homeowners regarding cost

  • Focus on the start-up of new project groundbreakings (utilities/excavation/foundation)

 

Construction Operations

  • Resolve critical path items that arise during construction with owners, architects, consultants, design teams, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers

  • Provide solutions to superintendents needing assistance in solving major construction-related issues

  • Lead the construction team at the completion stage of the project to obtain the certificate of occupancy 

  • Focus on field operations related to progress on site (QAQC)

 

Project Management

  • Assist project managers & superintendents during OAC meeting

  • Collaborate with the project team to develop and maintain the critical path project schedule

  • Attend pre-construction meetings with subcontractors/vendors/suppliers

  • Coordinate with the architect/interior designer/homeowner on the construction process regarding selections, submittals & RFI’s

 

Office Management

  • Work with the AR/AP team in the distribution of Progress Billings

  • Support office management duties related to Change Orders, Contracts and Pay Applications

  • Support coworkers/employees regarding miscellaneous issues that arise from time to time

  • Support the development of ongoing policy pertaining to Standard Operating Procedures

 

Conflict Resolution

  • Identify and address major budget variances in project costs with homeowners

  • Communicate with subcontractors regarding sensitive and critical issues

  • Perform subcontractor tune-ups, when necessary, based on their lack of performance

  • Address scheduling/budget/contract issues that arise with subcontractors
